Mark, I would agree that holistic medicine is growing more widely accepted. What I was more specifically writing about, though, was the absolute distrust by the conservative Christians of the environmental movement. You can see this polarity in my discussions with Bob about it, especially the villification of the "New World Order", which includes UNICEF, Greenpeace, and seemingly all organizations having anything to do with saving plants and/or animals from extinction, or trying to create world peace. The general idea seems to be that anything which is not Christian is evil. This is of great concern to me, since two diametrically opposed views of reality do not bode well for actually solving the problems we have. |
