Although the Dow is essentially unchanged for the day, its standing is a bit misleading given that the gains in IBM (IBM +7.40) and Microsoft (MSFT +1.685) are accounting for roughly 50 Dow points... Strikingly, only 8 of the 30 Dow components are trading in positive territory at this juncture
