Well, they're sticking behind Davis for now. The DNP is throwing their weight and funds behind the anti-recall effort.

Personally, I think the DNP would be better off ditching the guy and supporting some other Democrat for office. Or maybe they can't find anyone better than Davis ... and that would be sad indeed.


The Dems. believe that if they remain unified behind Davis and a number of challengers are fielded by the GOP, Davis will win. While there are better Dems, they don't want to run for the same reason that Arnold is thinking of not running.......the budget situation in CA is a total and complete mess. It will take more than the terminator to straighten it out. A Christ like figure would be real helpful. <g>

BTW I was an independent when I lived in CA for good reason; both parties are fukked up. The way they operated would blow me away. By the time I left CA, I was convinced the entire nation had become that way. I was relieved when I got here and saw it was only the GOP. <g>
