I don't see why the "The Sword of Damocles" can't hang over some Arab capitals or Mecca if it ever comes to that.

I'll bet we find a sudden streak of rational adversaries then.

But the West is too neutered I guess. Until we lose a major city or massive numbers to an attack.

Old enough to realize that MAD prevented the launching of nuclear attacks between rational adversaries and that same concept may not apply to muslim religious fanatics
