Yup and nope. Ethernet is built in WITH AppleTalk
(ie, Ethertalk) but WITHOUT LocalTalk. Remember, AT
is a protocal/transport layer, LT is a physical connection
layer like Ethernet.

For iMac, been that way since it was announced.
