I had thought Green Pees was a political moron, but you are correct:

Idiot, imbecile and moron denote a person who is mentally deficient. The idiot is incapable of learning and understanding, and is, completely helpless. (our Green Pees to a "t"). An imbecile may learn to communicate with others, but is incapable of earning his own living. A moron may take a normal place in society, but needs constant supervision.
