Hi Greg, >>we first heard about these bonds on July 17

"The company stated that the proceeds of the offering are for general corporate purposes, including working capital, and potentially to acquire complementary businesses, products or technologies, real estate, related capital equipment and enterprise software licenses."

I have been under the impression Wind River is the number one RTOS comapny and am trying to understand why their products do not generate sufficient cash to do the things listed in the above press release I copied.

Most of my investments are in software companies, simply because I understand software better than hardware. Software companies like, Microsoft, Oracle, Peoplesoft, Adobe, etc. have been able to get the business up and runing from the IPO dollars without having to do a Reg S or convertables. I just do not understand. BTW, I don't think software companies should spend their dollars investing in real estate.<ggg>

I should call the CFO and talk to him.

Joan
