Well, it is difficult to further cheapen and polarize a two-party system.

However, campaign finance can be made cheaper if more than 95% of single-seat voting districts are made absolutly safe, no campaign needed.

PS Good, serious, brand new joke from Mexico:

- somebody said that despite the newly reformed Mexican PR multiparty system, one can still "call the election result" appr. 2-3 hours after the election.
- some senior guy replied: " well, earlier we could do it six weeks before the election"

Maybe similar jokes can one day, decades into the future, be made on the present funny US two-party system.
