Now why should minimum wage help Arkansas? Arkansas is financially poor. About 80% of the land is controlled by the National Forest Service. I saw the poverty first hand.

Private property has been consumed by the government.

Raising the minimum wage will do nothing to help them --------services are few------no dry cleaners , no shoe stores, Word of mouth is how people know who does what.

Introduce the minimum wage there and you will kill all initiative and bring in more Government control over people who are already struggling. .

I met a lot of very genuine people and I also encounter some real crooks who take advantage of the elderly people financially in all possible ways.
