Well Hal, I talked to Karen at IR directly and she told me also that there was 20% increase in just the first round testing for MR heads. She made it sound like 20% was the very least and with more specialized testing should have even better results. She also wanted to assure me that Bramson has said again and again that ampex is not just a km company. She said the very worst scenerio would be "KM wold never be applied to any platters and the best would be 100% industry standard". I'm here for the long haul, but I was sure hoping ampex would come through to help pay my capital gains taxes this year. I would hate to have to sell my novelus or compaq or amat. That's what I bought ampex march options for.
