If this happens, it will vindicate Trump in his calling for the Fed to lower rates (for which he has been taking a beating by some). It will also likely set of a big round of refinancings, setting off pressures of stocks likely to benefit from that.

If we are not too damaged from other things, this could light a fire under the US economy.
