Struggling Adobe Rejects Bid by Quark. via NY Times >Quark, which makes QuarkXPress, an industry rival of Adobe's own Pagemaker, said it was making the offer public after being rebuffed by Adobe last week. Quark said that it was disappointed by Adobe's response and that while it would seek a friendly transaction, it held out the possibility of a hostile tender offer.< nytimes.com Interesting times.
