Some food for thought.
--preach the eminent return of Christ.( 4:58 pm 09/02/99 )
--you will witness to your friend before sunset.
-- preach the delayed return of Christ.
-- you will make plans to save the whole world and end up never taking the time.
-- preach the bema of Christ ,the dias of Christ.The place where all the accolades for the victors are given out.
-- strive to be perfect is HIS perfection, glorious in HIS glory,raised in HIS likeness,, conformed in HIS image,and eventually like HIS body in glory.
-- Did we die with Christ. Rom 8:1 John 5:24 If it wasn't settled at the cross when will it ever be settled ?
--Jerusalem had to be destroyed after Christ because the kingdom passed from Jews to Christians , the new world order was ushered in, there is not going to be another new world order ,again until Christ returns.
--Do not be dismayed when the heathen try to break you. Ps. 2:8--Ask of me and I shall give thee the heathen for thy inheritance: thou shall break them like a rod of iron: thou shall dash them in pieces like a potters vessel; but total dominion shall not be until the advent, preceded by darkness and judgement.--
--( shock) The preaching of the gospel is for a witness, not the conversion of an immoral, sick, degenerate generation-- however out of the witness God calls a moral stock and a chosen race.
--by nature we all like to live life by rules-- God says to live by faith, we are all by nature a pharisee-- we like to be justified by grace and sanctified by works, instead of justified by the cross and sanctified by the blood.
-- man says have faith-- God says go the addition step, have hope.
--faith will get you power to overcome, holiness to live pleasing to God. Hope will give it to you as a permanent possession. Our faith is in what Christ accomplished at calvary; our Hope is in his second coming; if He doesn't come again; I have news for you, we are all sunk !!! Have HOPE !!!!!!!!!!
