Actually you're missing the whole point... the current liquidation is probably what fair value always was given a very firm market currently for any internet asset, not 8-10cents on the dollar... those previous prices were panic buyers. At the bottom of the cycle there will be none of this crap for sale, it'll be the guys who bought this crap who's stocks will sell for 6-8 PE's....
