Thanks for the post. I have to disagree with one paragraph:

"Nor does the cheaper price spur a flurry of buying that lifts the stock. That's because the purchases of individual Investors enticed by a cheaper price hold little sway against the volume of big mutual funds and other institutions. "It's the institutions that set price, not individual investors. And the vast majority of people invest through mutual funds, which have absolutely no preference for price levels one way or another."

This is true for Intel, Coke, HP, etc. But not for stocks with only small institutional holdings, like Iomega.
