I respectfully disagree. In the 1980s, decent Americans attempted to incarcerate odious scoundrels who infested the last crime wave to sweep over the White House. Eliot Abrams, John Poindexter, John Negroponte, Oliver North and a raft of other human scum got exonerated and pardoned, most after serving no time at all for their treason to American principles.
Now, most of this human detritus has come back to destroy democracy for good, serving as destroying devils in the new Administration-from-Hell.
Behind bars is not good enough if we are going to save democracy. "Beneath the guillotine blade" is the image that ought to concentrating the minds of the current craven crew of criminals infesting the White House.
