All it mentioned is that Powell's departure would be a significant loss for Bush. As you just said, "Quit trying to make more out of it."

It's my interpretation. This man is more popular than bush...wonder why frankly. He got dragged into the gutter and lied about Iraq too. Let me ask...why do YOU think it would be a loss for bush if powell leaves ?

Despite calls from some of them to step up their attacks on Bush? Despite their support for the blocking of judicial nominations? Despite their failure to define themselves in any other way other than the next "anti-Bush"?

It's an election. What do you expect that they go around praising bush? Is that what bush did during his campaign against Clinton?

Oh wait, you dislike Bush's policies, so obviously he's the one playing divisive, partisan politics.

Don't go there...the war, tax cuts for the rich, religion in politics, environmental neglect, huge deficits, failure in Afghanistan, soldiers dying in Iraq, alienation of the world, damage to the UN, North Korea escalating to a full crisis...want more? Has he given them enough to attack him? Tangibly? Do you think bush would have any ratings if not for 9/11?
