Non-Tech : Any info about Iomega (IOM)?

Think about buying and financing.. When firms make aquisitions using
stock, it is typically because the value of their own stock is relativly
high in comparison with historical norms, projected earnings, etc. I
do not believe that that is the case with IOM.. Why would they want
to use equity financing when their shares are obviously in the toilet?

More likely, is that another tech company who's shares are obviously
overinflated with the run up over the last two years, steps in and
uses it's equity to buy out IOM.. I do not have any idea who or for
what reason this would happen, I just use it to emphasize the financing
point..
