If this Ebola thing does become a major pandemic, expect to see lower (perhaps significantly lower) attendance AND and correspondingly lower revenue flowing into the long list of important venues that depend on crowd gathering.

Bars, eateries, fast food outlets, sporting events, even fine art and antiquity auctions will be impacted. The list goes on and on.

Bottom line is a real pandemic will hit this economy very hard just when Obamacare and other burdensome economic regulation is really starting to bite.

In that context, worth bearing in mind that unemployment is a trailing, not a leading, indicator of economic activity.
