Commentary from the founder.... Democrats want to use "statistical sampling"(ie guessing) in the 2000 census---- despite the inconvenient Constitutional directive that the census must be an actual head count. Well the courts aren't cooperating with the lib's scheme to tabulate imaginary Democrats. So, naturally the left has to come up with Plan B. If they can't count citizens who aren't there, they'll use noncitizens to count. I kid you not. According to a report in The LA Times, the Census Bureau has "temporarily revised it's policy to allow noncitizens to be hired as temporary census workers." The unprecedented waiver issued last month by Clinton Commerce Secretary William Daley. "For the first time our policy will be, if you are eligible to work in the United States, you are eligible to work for the U.S. census," said Bill Baron, deputy director for the Census Bureau in Washington D.C. Have Green Card, will tally I guess. "Think about it," exuded California Assembly Speaker Antonio Villaraigosa. "We can finally allow noncitizens to participate in the census." Yeah, think about it.
