I don't see sentiment turning that much

without the rest of the market coming along for the ride. AAPL is still in it's honeymoon phase. People are still just realizing the potential. People aren't yet mortgaging their house for 150 Calls. The rally this summer has been on fairly small volume. It's still not deeply held. Short term it was definitely stretched, but it's not at a point where people are itching to flush it out.

I expect a snap back by the close on Friday. I'd be surprised if it is below 100 for the event.

Today was a HUGE volume day. I suspect that those who were going to lighten before the event, all ended up trying to squeeze out the narrow door today.

My puts worked well, until I decided to sell them and buy the noon dip :-( No matter, I did lose a lot from yesterday to today, but looking month to month I'm still up.

Kicking myself for not lightening more, but I'm in good shape for the next leg up.
