If it's any consolation to USA interests, my negative view of USA type management since the 1950's would be doubled up for British style management. They really do take the ticket for being the most inapt. The emperor of inaptness being Boris Johnson and his team of circus clowns.

I really do think Monty Python have a firmer grasp of political philosophy and management technique than anyone at the UK's so called parliament. Having good competitors is good for you, and I heard that from a manager in Boston USA . He was good at his stuff and knew how to play the system well. That company made money, no matter what was thrown at it. It was a tough place to work, but certainly a pleasure working there. It put fire into ones being, the desire to exist and function.
No matter how you cut the management style, and the political system. The serf is maybe right. You do need a mandate from the masses to rule.
