Hi Vance, are you able to get wind of what contracts are going to whom, w/rspt rebuilding Iraq? I noticed the 1.5B windfall sort of has the appearances of going to Bush & Cheney's industry buddies. Will even UK get screwed?

Is war more or less an acceptable way to gain business contracts for your industry friends?

I mean, is high-tech suppose to get one of our guys/gals into the Oval Office (let's pick Ellison to make this look, well, you know), then blow up (pick any country with key high-tech businesses, say Germany, which has successful SAP) and then let Ellison replace it with his stuff? I didn't know that's how one was suppose to grow a high-tech business? They didn't teach this particular method in school. What am I missing?

Remind me, the next time a Bush gets into office, to invest into his friends' firms. But next time, is there a way a person could get a list of these firms ahead of time.

Will this make the Spectrum's $1M insider trading deal look like pocket change?

$1.5B.

On another note, war is so costly (for lives & money). There are lower-cost ways (to both lives & money), if one even has to engage in conflict.

Regards,
Amy J
