I'm watching malls turn into flea markets.
High-end stores are closing and being replaced with mural- adorned plywood or short-term leases from Asian massage parlors, nail salons, dollar stores, and seasonal stores. And that's before what will surely be a post holiday exodus unlike none seen before.
BTW, even the dollar stores are struggling and quietly abandoning the "everything's a dollar" theme.
