Short and to the point....

TERROR'S APOLOGISTS
By ARNOLD AHLERT

July 15, 2006 -- FOR the past five decades, every single Islamic terrorist attack - from the slaughter of innocent individuals to the perpetration of mass murders in New York, Washington, D.C., London, Madrid, Bali, Bombay, etc. - has had its cadre of Western apologists.

These "excuse-makers" cling to the notion that there is something "legitimate" or, at the very least, "understandable" underlying these horrific crimes. Thus, 9/11 becomes a "failure of U.S. policy" - instead of the bloody success of Islamic fanatics. In the current crisis, it is Israel - not Hamas or Hezbollah - who must exercise "restraint."

The unspoken message? Terrorists are incapable of behaving like human beings, so it is incumbent on the human beings to "acquiesce."

Is there a "final straw," something perpetrated by jihadists so heinous it would be "inexcusable?" The bet here is not even a mushroom cloud would temper the "reasoning" of this intellectually bankrupt bunch.
