I agree completely about the heirloom tomatoes! I grew several standard plants, including Early Girl. However, I ordered three plants from the following link. The plants were in excellent condition and the Goose Creek tomato was absolutely incredible. I am desperately trying to save the seeds of it and will be trying to grow them from seed this fall/winter in those little peat pots.

BTW, we have been having 113 degree weather here in Texas and the heirlooms are still producing a few tomatoes.

Edit: I called the lady at the above link and asked her advice before making my selections. She recommended the Goose Creek - she said when a woman tastes it she says "Ambrosia!" and when a man tastes it he says "Hot Damn!" LOL!
