But I don't think it is right to take food away from young people (who need to raise children) just to give you the luxury of retiring at 65.

What drama! Now we will starve our children to save SS. LOL

It is cynical and silly at once....and irrelevant. Elderly people will not all decide to work til they phycically can't, nor will they be forced into it, no matter what your life habits or beliefs. The health of SS depends on our goverment taking steps to make sure it's not broken in 15 years.
