I'm well aware that the (D)'s have to take SOME of the blame for the clusterfuck. My WAG is about 30%.

Bush had an (R) congress for six years that would rubberstamp anything he proposed in exchange for him vetoing absolutely NO pork. Legislation does nothing when the watchdogs and regulators supposed to ENFORCE the legislation have been ordered to look the other way by their bosses, the "get government off the back of business" Bush administration.

It would seem America agrees with me.
