The Ponzi scheme is being perpetrated by politicians who continue to raid SS funds for purposes other than what they were intended for and who continue to spend money we don't have

This statement reflects a fundamental lack of understanding of SS as well as its problems.

SS is a failed social program that constitutes the single greatest threat to our nation. Liberals' total ignorance of the program, coupled with a decision to politicize it, has resulted in a total failure by BOTH PARTIES to deal with the problem.
