Or, they could point out... work just isn't worth it any more... That's only partly redux of the former Soviet view of work: "they pretend to pay us, and we pretend to work"... Work isn't just about the money... and today... it lacks other value. That's not about an issue with the employees... but about a class of employers who fail to create value, and aren't worth working for... When people do have a choice... its the later issue more than the former that defines what they do choose ?
