The new knowns re S1 functions... do also increase the range of potentials in prophylaxis and self treatment... Adding more known anti-inflammatory elements to the list of things that are known to help prevent infection... now makes sense both as fostering better resistance to infection by inflammatory paths... and in countering risks of and persistent impacts from inflammation in case of any infection... To my list I will add Magnolia Bark ( Houpo ) and Huperzine A... extract of Huperzia serrata (Qian Ceng Ta)
