Ted, I was talking in terms of our political equals. France and Germany aren't superpowers. Even the EU itself isn't a superpower. They'd like to become one, but that's a long ways away, if it's even possible. Like I said, no one is equal to us for many reasons. However, France and Germany are considered our technical equals in terms of political interaction....our peers so to speak. ted
