How about a 5% rise per pound in cost on use of irradiation alone. Here's the line that shows up in one form or another in most of these press releases estimating the cost for the consumer per year. Of course we don't know what ozonisation will actually add to the price without the use of irradiation. I suspect without that it will be less expensive and more desirable. Here's that line:

"Although the FDA review did not include costs of the technology, experts have estimated irradiation could cost consumers about five cents per pound of meat. That would add about $2 per person to grocery store bills based on average per-capita consumption of about 33 pounds annually."
