And the Nominees Are

No, not for the freakin’ Academy Awards.

I’m talking about judges.

Prez Bush today nominated two federal appeals court judges and eight federal district court judges.

The appeals court nominees are worth mentioning in detail.

1. The Prez re-nominated Brett Kavanaugh to the D.C. Circuit.

For those not in the know, Kavanaugh is so feared and loathed by the far left, his nomination has caused Ted Kennedy’s liver to contract and convulse, sort of like a trust-funded, yacht-sailing liberal Democrat after they’ve been asked why they contribute nothing whatsoever to charitable causes.

2. The Prez nominated Michael Chagares to the seat on the 3rd Circuit left vacant by DHS Secretary Chertoff.

Yet another solid nomination by the Prez.

Chagares is a corporate defense lawyer and former gummint attorney with the brass-knuckled U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey. He’s young enough to serve on the appeals court for 35-plus years.

BTW, conservatives already dominate the vast majority of the federal appeals courts. And those courts decide the vast majority of federal appeals; the SCOTUS hears but a tiny fraction of them.

And there still are nearly three full years remaining in this presidency.
