We offloaded the credit bubble on our insolvent nation.
In that sense, yes, that's the risk now, but stocks don't
always go down. Sometimes the currency goes down a lot
faster than stocks, and they soar into stratosphere.
Which is why I'm not willing to short anything but the
treasuries. We will have chronic inflation of 10-30%, at
least. 30% inflation means the dollar will lose 70% of
its purchasing power in 5 years, and add a zero in 10,
unless measures are taken to stop runaway inflation.
