Art, sales of computers did saturate the market yet, although they have been going for quarter of a century.

There will be a LOT of upgrading. Also, mobile phones are a high maintenance item, prone to wear and tear and obsolescence. Multiple devices will be the norm.

<Will CDMA succeed in Los Angeles [at last]?>

Yes it did.

<How is CDMA going in Hong Kong, Korea, Trenton?>

Very well, though it took a long time to get Hong Kong going.

<Do people like it?>

Like hot cakes.

<Will China be the biggest CDMA market?>

Almost certainly, but they'll have to get 3G going before it's the dominant force. Huawei will help. They are a very go-ahead firm. India could overtake them though as India hasn't filled the country with GSM.

<What technical developments are going on?>

Too many for me to keep up. It's like an inflationary universe. More and more and more expanding faster and faster.

<Has Nextwave Telecom bid too much in PCS spectrum auctions?>

No they didn't but it was a long time in the debate and courts.

<Will notebook computers with built in CDMA phone take the world by storm?>

They still haven't, but I suppose they'll get a lift when 3G is finally available everywhere at a non rip-off price. There won't be as many as PDA pocket cyberphones though. Not everyone will have a notebook puter, but nearly everyone will have a PDA cyberphone.

<Will you get rich from CDMA and Qualcomm?>

At 30:1 price increase, along with dividends, a LOT of people could have got rich. And did.

Don't write those off yet. They have not been big successes, but they might just need some stamina to bring to global success. Eudora2Go could help and Globalstar continues to gain ground. New phones and satellites are needed though.
