mr mark I agree with your points. I was just "up to here" with DI and hastened my response to your suggestions. I do not have a DI manual as my version came gratis with a PC book. Also, my slave drive is very small and I can only store one image. Therefore I can't experiment with images cuz the one I get is the one I have to use. The one which finally worked came from the method of entering DI through DOS and creating a high compression image. This was the third attempt at getting DI to work through DOS entry. the other attempts were made using a medium compression option. I also forgot to create the DI boot floppys last night. Was a bit over-caffeinated and jumpy. I will avoid those afternoon coffees today and keep my head tonight. Don't worry about how you phrase your responses to me.
