Richard, the TK call was reported in a Dow Jones Newswire story dated 8/5/97. The headline is as follows: "Chip Stocks Up; Merrill Says Conditions Seem Strong For 4Q" Several paragraphs down, is the following: "Kurlak said the semiconductor industry group as a whole could move up as much as 20%. He hasn't change any earnings estimates or ratings for the companies he covers." I would assume that DJ piece is accurate (was in the MU Briefing Book on WSJ Interactive), regardless of the lunacy of the upside wish.
