<< Everything I see or hear or see happening @IBM
indicates to me that the main players (MSFT, IBM, ORCL, SUNW, NCSP,
INTC, CSCO, COMS, DELL) are going to be the focus stocks. Companies
like Corel, Novell, Borland, Banyan, Artisoft, et al are IMHO going
to be relagated to the history books. Novell being the biggest player
with the biggest chapter. Nobody talks, writes, or is enthusiastic
about it, or it's products. Merrill confirms that also. So, soon it
will be time to move on my friend. (My opinions only) ... Regards, Joe>>

Joe,
I got a direct mailing from IBM last week (from Westport) promoting the IBM PC Server 704 and PC Server 330 and Intranetware 4.11 as the operating system of choice for the "best Internet business system".

Also, after analyzing July quarter results, on August 28th Merrill Lynch rates Novell a Long Term Accumulate. Though I don't trade with him, I've a friend whose a Vice President and he sends me reports as he gets them.
