tip, So many tv shows are talking about the weak dollar that it could bounce. But if you look at a longer term chart, this has only been a puny pothole in its rise vs. other currencies. I think it has years to decline.

I've been mostly using futures to play the currencies, but the bond funds have helped. I didn't have any yen calls, but the funds had yen bonds, and that helped the past couple of days.

Another reason I think the buck is going to continue to swoon over the long haul is so many investors buying Treasury Bonds because they are "safe." Bear markets cause the most pain and go after hiding places like a flame thrower after enemies hiding in caves. <g>
