Wowa, the short rates went for 5 to 1.5 and long bonds didn't move down at all. I don't think one should assume that foreign selling won't matter. IMO these worry wart economist are always smart and ALWAYS way off on their timing. It doesn't mean it wont' materialize. Time will tell, but they said the same thing about the Japanese with real estate, and they puked like an 18 yr. old red neck at the Jack Daniel's distillery.
