Gee, With all this NT Workstation business flowing their way, you would think Compaq/DEC, SGI and HP would have a business which was growing as fast as Sun..NOT! (actually most of these companies would simply settle for growing).

As far as Intel is concerned they better get something right, the Merced Fiasco needs no elaboration as one of the greatest pieces of non-news/non-product vaporware ever, the Pentium III proves that they have zero in the way of new ideas or pricing power and that customers wont pay a premium for Pentium III, IV or XXIV. AMD is going to make life miserable for a long time and their ASP's will crash faster than your NT workstation running an EDA Application!
