In answer to your specific questions:

No. But I have no absolute faith I will awake in the morning, either.

"Do you fear of flying in airplanes?"

I fly my own aircraft, do a pre-flightcheck, and have proof of my flight mechanic's skills. I do not fly on faith, but on resolve.

"Have you ever taken someone at his or her word?"

No. Whenever it's important I always get a signed contract.
