CALIFORNIA PERMITS GOOGLE'S SELF-DRIVING CAR ON PUBLIC ROADS

Efforts to usher in the age of the driverless car recently took another step, as California's Department of
Motor Vehicles (DMV) issued permits to conduct self-driving trials on public roads to Google, Audi and
Mercedes-Benz.
Oh.

Last time I visited CA, I thought they already had those things on the road.

Here are some examples. Note that the last one is an example of correct driving - full control of the wheel, paying attention to the road. I don;t think anyone can find fault that that guy's driving - I can't :-).
