I reject the tabloid approach to humanity. That sort of mentality is great for talk show hosts like Glenn Beck, who are talk show radio hits. I happen to like his show, but his approach to reality is utterly ridiculous.
In reality, the jihadis hate their own governments as much as they hate us. They hate anything that represents power and order - they are psychotic killers. What would you expect from brainwashed killers? They are no different than the foul mouthed liberals in this country that hate our government too.
It's time for the Muslims to stop defending the jihadi terrorists. The Lebanese cannot allow an Army of trained killers to rest on their soil. Bush promised a global elimination of terrorist training camps. We shouldn't be too surprised by Israelis elimination of Hezbelloh in Lebanon. There is no question they are a terrorist group, supported by The Maniac in Iran.
Israel had weak justification for the invasion of Lebanon based on the 2 soldiers they lost. However, Hezbelloh has been threatening them with violence for the past year. If you keep threatening to kill your neighbor, eventually he is going to take pre-empitve action to defend himself.
The Muslim community acts like a unified group of oppressed people every time someone commits an act of terrorism. Hezbelloh is getting what they deserve - war. They have been preparing for battle for how long? How can Muslims be too suprised that Israel is finally defending itself against this group?
In the West, we don't make excuses for our criminals. We send them to jail. I reject the Muslim complaints that we are hypocrites because we are attacking radical Muslims. For the most part, we are protecting Muslims from these jihadis, especially in Iraq. We are supporting the right of the Israelis to defend themselves against Hezbelloh. We are protecting the Sunnis from the Taliban in Afghanistan. We are promoting the stability of the Shiite government in Lebanon. We are protecting Pakistan from India. We are trying to do the right thing in many different countries to destroy the interests of the jihadis. In every case, we are criticized by ignorant people. This condemnation is accepted by ignorant people in our society that have not educated themselves about the true purpose of our foreign policy to protect the balance of power in every part of the ME.
Truth be known, we have great relationships with every Muslim government in the ME except for Iran and Syria. Look at the presence of military bases in almost every country. Iraq is a total cluster fuck because the country is evenly split by different ethnic groups. The battle for power is totally regrettable on every level. However, the balance of power now secludes Iran in every direction except for Syria. They are controlled by a small minority of Alawite Shiites in a country dominated by 90% Sunnis. It would be interesting to explore a shift in the balance of power for the Sunnis in that country. It would really fuck up the Iran Syrian axis.
I think our foreign policy is being pushed to the limit by the challenges of terrorism and the inability of the Muslim population to reject terrorists from their society. The moderates are being duped into thinking the jihadis are defending their national interests, in the example of the economic leadership provided by Hamas and Hezbelloh. Overall, we are doing everything we can possibly do without any assistance from the UN to our European pussy whipped allies.
I see the destruction of Hezbelloh as a regrettable step in the right direction. Anyways, I am getting bored with the redundant posts on fadg, so I thought it was time to check out this thread again. |
