I'm still learning about Greece. Best analysis I've read is that the Greek government may not go to the referendum after Germany weighs into the conversation. If, however, it ignores the Germans, then, given Drum's comments and others I've read, we'll start down a very uncertain path.

But Henry Farrell on the Crooked Timber blog makes the very critical point that the European financial structures now evolving will have very long term consequences and are doing so without any buy in from the citizenry. The Greek vote would be the first such moment.
