All in all I would say it is pretty embarrassing for a company like Apple to have both hardware and software issues with their breadwinner product like iPhone. This is not the expectation from a company that strides for perfectionism. I am really shocked that Apple design team did not put the iPhone through some stress tests. Now some might say that people are abusing their phones but Apple should have thought about people abusing their phones and is it really worth taking that type of chance? Specially when the management knows that the competitors will be looking for any type of flaw that they can bring to the attention of the public.
