I think you guys are mistaking investing for gambling. Municipal bonds are investing. MR Buying Municipal bonds is trying to stay even with inflation. Noit an investment at all. Buying Ascend is gambling Gambling by definition, is if you lose, all is lost. Not true in the equity market. You may lose principle but not all of it unless you are picking something that has nothing in book value. Glenn
