Doug, can't thank you enough for a clear explanation, and in plain English at that. Am I right in supposing that by asking for the share certificates, I may inconvenience myself by having to physically deposit them with my broker before he/she can sell them? That is, there is some loss in trading flexibility and speed. Is that correct?
