The irony regards Giants defeat, when Shockey dropped TD pass that would have made it 42-14 instead of 38-14, the game was lost(but little did anyone realize it was lost then).Max p.s.Fantasy headline as revisionism sets in:) Shockey's shocking drop loses game. Giants on the edges of a 42-14 lead had their hopes then crushed and had to settle for FG for a 38-14 lead and 18minutes remaining in the game.
How can a team protect a mere 24 point lead with that much time left???? It was then the Giants, spirits broken by this shocking Shockey muff; realized their fate was sealed to lose 39-38.
